Celebrating 30+ Years of Serving Atlanta! Dar Un Noor Academy is proud to be one of the first Islamic schools in Georgia. We were established in 1990 following the establishment of the first Masjid in Atlanta, Al-Farooq Masjid of Atlanta. Our rapid growth over the past 2 decades has increased our student body to over 250 students and allowed us to provide superior education from pre-kindergarten t

o 8th grade. Many of our students have gone on to traditional high schools, graduated from top colleges, and become successful in their desired careers, all while retaining the solid Islamic education that Dar Un Noor Academy has been blessed to provide. Beautiful highlights from our Hajj Simulation Day held on Friday, May 8th, 2026. ๐Ÿ•‹โœจ
Our Pre-K through 12th grade students came together for a meaningful journey of learning, reflection, and worship as they experienced the rituals of Hajj in a hands-on and engaging way. From Tawaf to the stoning of the pillars, students gained a deeper understanding of one of the pillars of Islam while building unity, empathy, and Islamic identity. ๐Ÿค

Moments like these remind us that Islamic education goes beyond the classroom, it lives in experience, community, and connection to Allah ๏ทป.

Our Dar Un Noor community came together for a beautiful celebration filled with joy, culture, and connection. From the laughter at the bouncy houses and games ๐ŸŽˆ to the creativity of face painting & henna ๐ŸŽจ the excitement of the wrestling bouts ๐Ÿคผโ€โ™‚๏ธ, it was truly a day to remember!

Our 1stโ€“5th grade students have been working hard all year learning Wudu and Salah with our Quranic Arabic team โ€” and now itโ€™s time to shine! ๐ŸŒŸ
