The Presidents Club Toastmasters has received the Toastmasters International Presidents Distinguished Club award every year since 2003. The world needs leaders.
The President’s Club Toastmasters of East Cobb consists of a group of people with diverse backgrounds, careers and interests, but we all have the common goal of improving our public speaking skills in a highly supportive environment. About 25 members participate regularly in meetings. Some have years of experience, while others have just a few weeks. The President’s Club was chartered in October 1
982. The first meeting location was in the President’s Conference Room at Oglethorpe University, resulting in the name “President’s Club.” From there we moved to 3500 Piedmont Road in 1994, and since September 1994 we’ve met in our current location at the East Cobb Government Service Center. Our club belongs to District 44, Area D46 of Toastmasters International. Meeting Time: 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m. Meeting Date: 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays of each month. Meeting Location: East Cobb Government Service Center at 4400 Lower Roswell Rd Marietta, GA 30068 (unless otherwise noted on the website)
Come join us! We would love to have you visit our club! It’s a safe, supportive environment that you can enhance your confidence, presentation skills and leadership abilities. No appointment necessary. You can visit us as a guest as many time as you like at no cost. About Toastmasters International:
Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Our membership is 313,000 strong. Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 14,650 clubs in 126 countries that make up our global network of meeting locations. Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish, they must communicate. By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program. Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. During their journey, they learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback—and accept it. Through our community of learners, they find their path to leadership. For More Information on Toastmasters:
