Sandy Springs Education Force was very proud to accept the Fulton County Schools Partner of the Year award earlier today at the county's Legacy of Excellence Awards celebration.

During the ceremony, Franchesca Warren, Vice President of the Fulton County Board of Education, reflected on SSEF’s impact:
"This year's Legacy of Excellence partner of the year exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose and heart. From collaboration to innovation, this organization is a driving force for students and teachers across Learning Zone 4. With 18 programs supporting 10 schools, Sandy Springs Education Force begins every partnership with one question: "What do you need?" From their Summer Book Club that helps students stay on track with reading to their High Demand Career Fair connecting graduates with employers like Northside Hospital and Emory, and their Teachers Supply Closet that equips classrooms with essential materials ...their impact is undeniable."

SSEF Executive Director Irene Schweiger accepted the honor, joined by SSEF Board members Emily Hewitt, Julie Bernath, Carolyn Axt, Judy Roseman, Katie Gregory, and Alexandra Bates, as well as SSEF Programming Director Beppie Lever and SSEF Marketing Director Miriam Salpeter.

Sandy Springs Education Force has proudly served as a premier education-based nonprofit in Sandy Springs since 2008. Thank you to Fulton County Schools for recognizing our work and our mission—“to create targeted programs that educate, inspire, and prepare public school students in Sandy Springs for a competitive world”—with this distinguished award.
