What does readiness look like? We ask this question when young children are doing what they are meant to do, which is play. Through play, which IS a child's work, they become ready. Ready in a way that goes much deeper than what we perhaps mean when we ask the question.
This week, teachers are getting ready. That readiness is of a different sort, and yet, similarly, we get there at our own individual pace, and our readiness encompasses so many different aspects.
Will they be ready?
Will we be ready?
The answer is a resounding YES!

Today Chase King from Launch Therapy came for a Lunch and Learn session about child development and the many ways children develop skills and reach milestones, sometimes, with a little assistance. It was informative and engaging, and while we didn't forget to eat, we really love learning from our outside vendors!
