Hand in Hand Encompass

TODAY (OCT 1st) IS OUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

No, we don't have photos of that...yet...but we do have photos of the teachers on their last day of teacher training packing up their school supplies onto moto taxis and head back home. Some would travel for 15 min., but most are traveling for hours, some for many hours.

We are super excited for the successful launching of the new school year. Great job Marie Claire Selonkoue, Emmanuel Bouyete, and Guidibet Jean!

Let's watch God work His blessings into each of these little one's hearts and lives 🙏🏾

Day #2 Hand in Hand Teacher Training: Bangui, Central African Republic
Break out groups to practice the teaching technique for using HnH literacy charts.

Check out the backstory behind how our 18 literacy charts came to be back in the early-90s. It's a story about God using hardship and the greater body of Christ for a huge amount of GOOD. You'll find the story with the photo of Teacher Jean-Pierre holding the reading charts.

DAY #1: TODAY was our first of five days of training for teachers of our 42 HnH schools (2025-2026).

If you wonder about the objectives of HnH schools, besides caring for educational and physical needs of almost 1,900 orphans in the Central African Republic, meeting spiritual needs also is a very intentional pursuit. The devotional from day #1 (today) was on each believer's responsibility to spread the gospel - see the chalk drawing illustrating Matthew 28:18-20.

Thank God for answering our prayers for safe travel for these teachers, some of whom traveled hundreds of miles to arrive in Bangui.

Please PRAY with us that these teachers will depart for their villages on Friday feeling equipped and powerfully inspired for their ministries to their students this year.
