What an incredible day we had on February 22, 2025! Our studio community absolutely shined at the University of West Georgia during the annual music festival hosted by the Western Georgia Music Teachers Association! 🌟
This festival is more than just an event — it’s a celebration of music, growth, and pure talent! Each student had the chance to perform for an adjudicator, receive thoughtful feedback, and earn a rating to mark their progress for the year. And let me tell you — they rocked it! 🎸
Here’s a quick breakdown of the festival’s categories: 🎼 Category A: For beginners who need extra encouragement — perfect for young learners or those just starting their musical journey. 🎼 Category B: For our steady, hard-working students who are mastering their skills and building confidence. 🎼 Category C: For our advanced, superstar students who are preparing for special events or tackling challenging pieces.
And let’s talk about the RATINGS! 🏅 ✨ Superior — the highest level of performance and musicality ✨ Excellent — above average performance ✨ Good — solid, average performance ✨ Needs Attention — more practice needed (because every great musician starts somewhere!)
Now for the big news… 🥁 We had six amazing students represent us, with five competing in Category C and one in Category B (she’s still at the beginning of her journey — go, girl! 💛). And guess what?

That’s right — ALL of our students crushed it! Their hard work, dedication, and love for music truly paid off, and I am so proud! 🎉
