I am beyond thrilled. 😃 I have been working with a gifted fifth grader (I love this age) on his writing endeavors. The parents were concerned that he would sit there for hours without any writing to show.

Well, the writing was inside of him just ready to blossom. We worked through the writing blocks, developed a process, and discussed various ideas.

He placed first for his age group in a state-wide poetry competition. Now, he's working on a murder mystery that I am sure will turn into a novel. Bravo!
