"Healthy relationships are built in small moments, like checking in on the people you care about.
A simple message can remind someone they are not alone and create space to share what they are going through.
You do not need the perfect words. Listening, believing them, and respecting their choices can make a real difference.
Checking in helps build a culture where people feel safer speaking up and getting support. And your mental health matters too, it is okay to set boundaries.
Who can you check in on today 💛

This Mental Health Awareness Month, the theme is More Good Days, Together.
And ‘together’ doesn’t have to mean a big friend group or constant plans.
Sometimes, it’s the smallest moments: A quick conversation before class, a message to check in, studying with someone or a shared laugh on a stressful day. These little connections can make hard days feel lighter.
If you’ve been feeling alone on campus, you’re not the only one. And connection doesn’t have to be perfect - it just has to start.
Send the text. Sit next to someone. Say hi. Small steps can lead to more good days than you think.

Fueling your body = supporting your mind 🧠💚
This month for Mental Health Wellness, we’re highlighting how balanced snacks can help keep your energy up, your focus steady, and your mood supported.
Building a snack with carbs, protein, and healthy fats isn’t just about staying full—it’s about giving your brain the nutrients it needs to thrive ✨
Try pairing things like fruit + cheese, crackers + protein, or a quick grab-and-go option between classes or meetings!
Small choices can make a big impact on how you feel ðŸ’

The effects of sexual violence can last long after the violence itself has ended. Survivors may experience a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, or PTSD. These struggles are a natural response to trauma—but stigma around both mental health and sexual violence can make it hard to reach out for help. Knowing you're not alone and that support is available can be empowering. VOICE is here to support survivors navigating these experiences. If you're looking for mental health resources, a VOICE Advocate can help connect you.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reminding you of something important: You’re allowed to slow down.
In college, it can feel like you always need to be doing more—more studying, more working, more pushing through. But constantly running on empty doesn’t lead to more success. It leads to burnout. Slowing down doesn’t mean giving up. It means giving yourself a chance to rest, reset, and keep going.
A ‘good day’ doesn’t have to be perfect or productive. Sometimes, it’s just a day where you gave yourself what you needed. Let this be your permission to pause.

Your relationships have a real impact on your mental health. The way people treat you can shape how safe, supported, and valued you feel.
Healthy relationships can bring a sense of comfort and stability. Unhealthy ones can leave you feeling anxious, drained, or unsure of yourself.
Take a moment to check in with yourself. How do your relationships make you feel?
You deserve to feel safe, respected, and supported in every relationship in your life. If something does not feel right, you are not alone and support is available.

April was filled with events that showed support for survivors and promoted a safer, healthier campus community for all.
We listened to survivors' stories, marched as a call to action to end sexual violence on campus, wore teal ribbons to show our support for survivors, crafted denim patches and hexagons with messages of support, and so much more.
We're looking forward to next year and making an even bigger impact!
