From idea to market. 💡

Annave Noel, C’2027, began developing Luminous SKN Care through Spelpreneur, Spelman College’s entrepreneurship program. This summer, the biology major used her entrepreneurship, branding, pitching and business strategy skills to launch her own brand.

Her journey shows what can happen when students go from learning to putting lessons into action.

The Spelman College Museum of Fine Art is celebrating 30 years of its collection with Between Here & Infinity, featuring nearly 70 works by Black women artists across generations.

The exhibition reflects the Museum’s longstanding commitment to centering Black women’s artistic expression and the Black feminist imagination.

Spelman’s Counseling Center and The Self Care Lab hosted Bloom With Us, a Bloom Bar and open house on the MacVicar Hall sidewalk. Students built their own bouquets, met the counseling team, and got a look inside the space, as part of Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

The Counseling Center is here year-round, not just this month. Call 404-270-5293, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., to talk to someone.

Kiree Harris spent her summer interning at Tory Burch in New York City, on the Raw Materials team within Supply Chain. She supported product development, worked across teams, and got a firsthand look at how materials for handbags and footwear actually come together.
