April was *full* of so many beautiful moments! From our Friendship Club sales and drive to raise money, awareness, and support for various causes (like endangered amphibians, houseless people, and children in need) to a bustling Spring Break Camp, we have been creating so many wonderful memories. We celebrated Earth Day by having a festival with games like Pin the Leaf on the Tree, Musical Litter Pick Up, and Can It! Only one more month of the school year left - we will miss our after school friends. In the meantime, we’ll be getting ready for Frog Hollow Summer Camp!!

February was so full of fun! From celebrating birthdays to Valentine’s to creating memories at Winter Break Camp, we’ve been quite busy! Two Girl Scout cookie booths and a lot of hugs and smiles in between 😁 Looking forward to what March will bring 😊

Meet Ms. Alexis, our newest addition to our Haverty Hollow team 😊 She is also a teacher at Northside Methodist and we are delighted that she comes to lead such fun activities in the afternoon with us after being with her preschoolers! Please help us in giving her a warm welcome 🤗

This Holiday season has been a lot of fun here at Haverty Hollow! From Secret Friend during our after school Friendship club, to Brown’s family showing us all about Hanukkah, to making delicious treats at Holiday Break Camp - we have been enjoying the time spent together. We would love to give a huge thank you to Brown, his mother, grandmother and grant aunt for coming in and sharing yummy matza ball soup, reading about Hanukkah, and teaching us how to spin the dreidel and giving us goody bags to take home! We so appreciate it and had a blast!!

We also had a fun holiday party and each after school student was able to take home a present. (Thank you Ms. Lisa! ☺️)

Meet our newest addition to the Haverty Hollow team: Mr. Matt! He has recently joined us as our third teacher ☺️ Hailing all the way from California, Mr. Matt is helping us keep our program vigorous and engaging.

Truly getting into the Holiday spirit, as we get creative decorating gingerbread men and other wooden ornaments. Thank you so much Mrs. Ginny (one of our afterschool program students’ mom) for hanging out with us today and sharing your art with us! 🤗❄️

On Wednesday the Haverty Hollow family came together to celebrate our first Multicultural Food Festival! It was such a hit! We sampled foods from samosas to jambalaya and sweets from stroopwafels to Chinese egg tarts. We are so grateful for our amazing families!
