Brother Spotlight: You might not see them in the stands, but that’s because brothers Caleb Clevenger and Miller Devane are on the sidelines, repping Tech as members of the cheer team. At Theta Xi, we celebrate brothers who are well-rounded and fully engaged in campus life—and Caleb and Miller embody that standard both on and off the field. Their commitment to Christ shines through in how they lead, serve, and represent our brotherhood with integrity.

We celebrated our annual bid dinner at DAS BBQ yesterday. We are so blessed to bring in 32 new men that love the Lord and desire to grow in Him. Shoutout rush chairs Reed Miller and Luke Marshall for all your hard work. Thank you brothers and alumni for a night of great food and fellowship!

Meet Wyatt Smith (Fall '22) from Locust Grove, GA.

"I originally never thought I would join a fraternity, but what I saw in Theta Xi as I rushed my 2nd year was a group of men that would push me to pursue Christ. I found a brotherhood that genuinely cares for me and wants me to grow closer to Jesus. This past fall I got baptized at a local church and the show out from the brotherhood was overwhelming.

After joining Theta Xi, I did so many things I never thought I would like study abroad, start a band, lead a discipleship group. I definitely have grown spiritually as well as socially. I thank God for leading me down this path and using the brothers in Theta Xi to bear so much fruit in my life."

Meet Bishop Uhlrich (Fall '22) from San Antonio, TX.

"Coming to college from out of state, I didn’t know anyone and had no intention of rushing. But I consider myself incredibly blessed to have stumbled upon Theta Xi. Within weeks, I found deep friendships and, more importantly, a Christ-centered foundation that helped enrich my faith.

By finding my place in the “Fratican”, our group of Catholic brothers in the fraternity, and getting involved at the Catholic Center just steps from our door, I was surrounded by mentors, Bible studies, and a community that helped me grow spiritually. Now, through the guidance and example Theta Xi has given me, I have the opportunity to give back as a mentor and leader to the younger guys. And I hope to be the same kind of example to them that others were to me."

Colossians 3:23-24 says "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

Meet Austin Cummings (Fall '23) from Peachtree City, GA.

“Coming into college I knew I wanted to rush, but didn’t know what would be the right fit for me. When I met brothers from Theta Xi, I could tell how much they cared about their faith and were committed to pushing each other and growing in their walks with Christ.

Since joining Theta Xi, my faith has grown in ways I never expected. I’ve become more involved with my local church, Christ Covenant, and with Campus Outreach, a campus ministry. Both have introduced me to incredible people who have deeply impacted my spiritual journey and helped me grow in my relationship with God.”

"Coming into Tech last year, I knew I wanted to get involved, but I didn’t know where my place would be. Once I decided on rushing, I knew instantly that my place would be Theta Xi. I connected with the guys immediately and have built friendships that will last a lifetime.

Connecting on a spiritual level has allowed me to grow in my faith so much more than I could’ve imagined. I’m in a small group with 4 other guys and we meet weekly to study God’s word together and learn what His plans for us are.

Theta Xi has given me my best friends as well as helped me so much in my walk with God. Joining was 100% the best decision I’ve made since coming to tech, and I’m excited to be able to pour into the guys who will be joining in the future!"
