Meet Melody Lee, a 3rd year Computer Science major with minors in Mathematics and Physics, has been recognized as a 2026 recipient of the prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarship. Melody has completed inspiring research simulating quantum dynamics, and intends to pursue physics in a grad school program in the future as well.

Aarush Yadav, a second-year computer science major and member of the John H. Martinson Honors Program (JMHP), secured a $500k pre-seed for his startup—The Subvocal Company—from pre-seed venture capital firm Afore Capital. He credits the JMHP community as adding significant value to his experience at Georgia Tech, shaping his ideas and thought processes significantly as a student founder.

Jason Wang, a second year JMHP Neuroscience student, was recently honored as a 2026 Undergraduate Teaching Assistant of the Year by the Center for Teaching and Learning. Jason has been heavily involved in NEUR 3002, helping guide students and adapt course pedagogy to align with the CURE framework. Second year JMHP student Dhruv Narang and his team members recently won the People's Choice Award at the 2026 Georgia Tech InVenture People’s Choice Award for their startup DoorTix. The team has worked incredibly hard to develop this innovation that makes the ticket purchase process simpler and less stressful.
