Happy New Year!
I'm representing Campus Movie Fest, a major student film festival returning to Georgia State University. I would love to share the event page before our event starts on January 29, 2020.
To give some background, we provide students at colleges across the U.S. with FREE film making equipment and training needed to make a film in a week! Students can receive the opportunity to see their films screen at the Cannes International Film Festival in France. The top 4 films will even represent GSU at the national competition in June 2020 in Hollywood. Filmmaking experience is not required to participate, and we encourage students of all skill levels and majors to learn and have fun with us!

Fast Film Fest Screening
Friday, March 19, 2021
8:00p EST
Lights, camera, action! The screening and awards ceremony for the 3rdFast Film Fest takes place virtually on Friday, March 19 at 8pm (EST). Get your popcorn ready, and settle in to your comfy seats to watch short, animated films starring paper! This year’s theme is “Community: The World as We Know It,” and submissions are 5 seconds to 5 minutes long. Want to watch? Join here: https://primetime.bluejeans.com/a2m/register/fdfhzyzr
This year’s jurors are Casandra Brewton Johnson, Lisa Ferrell, and Allyssa A. Lewis. The screening will consist of viewing the entries and the reveal of the winners in individual and group categories.
The screening is the culminating event of the Film Festival. Workshops and panels led by professionals in the field of animation provided insight into the form and tips of the trade. Festival participants created unique animated films using paper as the primary medium.
Festival coordinator Jerushia Graham says, “The creativity of the entries is incredible. What people are able to do with a camera, some paper, and a good idea is unlimited.” This is the third Fast Film Fest produced by the museum. Previous entries and this year’s panels can be viewed on the Paper Animation Film Fest YouTube page.
For more information, contact Jerushia Graham at [email protected].

Skillshot - Kicking off #IATL was crazy!! Gaming + Voting = US at @subsumelife #StayIncluded

Thank you for inviting CMII to be a part of this, Dedren / SUBSUME! #GamersVote

Dedren Snead
Creative & Technical Project Manager | Futurist | Storyteller | Maker | Founder of SUBSUME | RCIE Stakeholder

Being a supporting part of Skillshot Media x Gamers.Vote x Ghost Gaming amazing inaugural gaming and media event INVITATION ATL with Subsume was a fun time for a great cause.

Settling in to see the Twitch broadcast begin, however, The first face I saw at 00:01 was a shock! 😲 Sharing the stories of our team of collaborators -- Lisa Ferrell, Marcus "Blockchain" Howard Deigratia Daniels Ron Jones -- was important to bring to the conversation, and I am thankful that we could share with everyone. Those who know me know I've always been a voice for exercising your right to vote, without fear, without suppression, without fail. Do it.

It was such an honor to be invited to bring together two passions of mine and help our #CreativeClass of gamers and event partners spread the word that #votingmatters and take action to be heard. Especially speaking to how personal the right to vote is for many of us and to our families' legacies.

Many thanks to the Russell Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Creative Media Industries Institute @GSU and Atlanta Influences Everything for having our backs while our ATL studio continues to build for our community.

And that's how you #stayincluded.
