Next year’s global theme of Conservation will come to life for Lower Schoolers thanks to the recent fieldwork of our 2026-2027 Lower School ICGL Faculty Cohort. These exceptional educators just returned from South Africa, where they immersed themselves in the many facets of the theme—wildlife, biodiversity, marine preservation, and cultural and linguistic conservation—which will be integrated into the curriculum in age-appropriate ways. Welcome home, Knights!

We’re thrilled to announce exciting leadership transitions within our athletics and admissions teams! 💙
Jennifer McGurn will take the helm as our new director of athletics this summer. A Butler University Hall of Famer and former collegiate coach, Jen has been a cornerstone of the Pace community since 2006. Whether leading our enrollment strategy, advising students or coaching volleyball, she has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to our mission and an unwavering embodiment of the Pace Knight spirit.
As Jen moves to the Office of Athletics, Mac McCallum will lead the Office of Admissions. Since joining us in 2017, Mac has been a tireless advocate for our mission, connecting with prospective families across all grade levels and leading strategic initiatives with passion and expertise. Known for his warm and welcoming presence on campus, Mac brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, including a master’s degree in independent school leadership from Vanderbilt University. He is truly a well-rounded Knight in every sense.
Please join us in congratulating Jen and Mac on their new roles! It’s a great time to be a Pace Knight! 💙

We were honored to welcome Ambassador Julie Davis, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, to Pace for a truly special visit! 🇺🇸🌍
Speaking with both our fifth graders and Upper School students and faculty, Ambassador Davis shared valuable insights into the role of U.S. embassies abroad and the vital work of diplomats. She helped our students understand how international relationships are built and maintained, and the important role ambassadors play in representing and protecting the interests of the United States around the world.
It was an inspiring day of global learning and connection!
