Explore Cone 6 Glazes - Workshop

This workshop will focus on Cone 6 glazes and firing. Different application methods will be explored, including brushing, dipping, and safely layering and combining glazes. We will discuss techniques to create unique designs and learn about various glaze materials to provide a well-rounded understanding of the process.

Doing some minor redecorating in the glaze studio to have everything fresh shiney and clean for 2026 classes!

Don’t miss Rick Berman’s Bottle Workshop this Saturday!

This hands-on session explores how to create and apply ceramic decals—an efficient, precise alternative to hand-painting pottery. You’ll learn how to edit your images in Photoshop, explore the digital tools and printers used in decal production, and watch live demonstrations on clay tiles. This is a great opportunity to add a new surface technique to your skillset.
What to Bring:
2 glazed pieces – light-colored glazes work best to contrast with the blue-tone decals.
Images on a flash drive – choose a few designs or photos you’d like to work with.
