Cai Mims stands as a quiet force of discipline and ambition. Ranked number five in his class, he carries a 3.9 GPA with consistency, backed by a weighted 4.0 that reflects years of hard work. With over a million dollars in scholarships earned, his dedication has already begun to open doors that lead far beyond the present. He is more than just a student. As Command Sergeant Major in JROTC, a football captain and all-region player. Additionally, Cai is a member of both National Beta Club and National Honor Society. Cai has proven himself as both a leader and a teammate. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or representing his school in esports as the first in APS history to reach the Final Four, he continues to push limits. Committed to Savannah State University for civil engineering, Cai is building a future rooted in purpose. Through his nonprofit work and role as a peer ambassador, he reaches back to uplift others, showing that success means more when it is shared. His story is still being written, and while the path ahead is not fully known, one thing is certain Cai Mims is prepared for whatever the future holds. Makay Jackson is a distinguished senior ranked #4 in her class, placing in the top 5% academically. As cheer captain, she leads with confidence while balancing her involvement in several clubs such as FBLA, HOSA, GSU CORE, National Honor Society, and Beta Club, etc. She plans to attend the illustrious Savannah State University on a Five Strong Scholarship, majoring in Biology on a pre-med track as she works toward becoming a surgeon and one day opening her own private practice. Makay embodies the three D’s determined, dedicated, and disciplined, and is known for her resilience and strong work ethic. After graduation, Kayla is headed to a four-year college to major in political science. She plans to stay active on campus and keep up the same high grades she had in high school. After getting her bachelor’s degree, she wants to go to law school to become a corporate or tax lawyer.
