Lekotek of Georgia Making a difference for children with disabilities. We use play as a way to teach and have fun. We are proud that our program serves 600 families per year.

Lekotek serves children with a wide range of special needs - autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, hearing or vision loss, genetic disabilities, and many more. We are unique in that our professionally-guided play sessions are free from any expectations. Through play, we often see an increase in confidence and ability, but there is no expectation to perform. Using adapted toys and technology, more

than 5,500 families have been served throughout Georgia since 1983. Play session fees are $250 per year. Scholarships are available and no family is ever denied services. Lekotek provides an atmosphere of pressure-free learning, where children can simply enjoy play – where being exactly who they are is not only tolerated, but welcome.
