💙 Autism Awareness Month 💙
As Autism Awareness Month comes to a close, FCS PEAK Academy proudly joins in raising awareness, promoting understanding, and supporting inclusion for individuals with autism.
We recognize the importance of creating communities where differences are respected and every individual is valued. Awareness leads to understanding—and understanding leads to stronger, more inclusive schools and communities.
Let’s continue to learn, support, and advocate beyond the month of April.

January 26, 2026 - Remote Learning/Work Day
Stay safe and warm, Falcons!
Monday, January 26, will be a Remote Learning/Remote Workday for Fulton County Schools
Fulton County Schools continues to closely monitor the winter weather system expected to affect the metro Atlanta area this weekend. Updated forecasts from the National Weather Service indicate that icy road conditions and other impacts may extend into Monday.
As a precaution, Fulton County Schools – including all schools and administrative offices – will shift to a Remote Learning/Remote Workday on Monday, January 26. Weekend activities scheduled to begin after 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and all activities on Sunday have already been canceled.
What does this mean for students?
Students will participate in an asynchronous remote learning day. Teachers will communicate with parents and/or students regarding instructional expectations. Schools will be closed, and all after-school meetings, extended day programs, clubs or athletic practices and events also are canceled.
What does this mean for employees?
Employees will work remotely and will receive additional guidance from their principal or supervisor regarding work expectations. Employees assigned to safety, operations, or recovery roles will be contacted directly by their supervisor. All employees should contact their supervisor if they have questions.
Where can I get more information?
Please continue to monitor the FCS website (www.fultonschools.org) and our official social media channels (Facebook, X/Twitter and Instagram) while staying in touch with your student’s school.
Fulton County Schools is committed to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in our students’ education.

🟡 Yesterday was World Su***de Prevention Day – September 10 🟡
At FCS Peak Academy, we took a moment to reflect and stand in solidarity with millions around the world for World Su***de Prevention Day (WSPD) — observed every year on September 10th.
This day has served as a powerful reminder of the importance of mental health awareness, su***de prevention, and compassionate connection.
💬 The message continues beyond the day:
You are not alone. You matter. Help is available.
