Last Friday’s Trinity Together Time put our Sixth Graders in the spotlight! After each student was recognized by name, our Sixth Grade leaders took the stage for a fun skit that revealed this year’s all-school theme: TIGERS!

TIGERS is a reminder of the values we want to carry with us throughout the year: Try your best, Include others, Grow every day, Engage with kindness, Respect others, and Solve problems. We can’t wait to see our community put these words into action all year long!

The Gingerbread Man may have tried to make a getaway, but our Pre-K students were up for the challenge! After exploring Trinity and following the clues all week, they finally tracked down their sweet, speedy friend. Today, all their hard work paid off with the sweetest of victories! For their first Town Hall of the school year, Kindergarten students gathered in the dining hall to meet members of the team and learn more about their roles at Trinity. Chef Josh shared some fun insights into the size and scale of a professional kitchen, and students had plenty of questions of their own. A delicious lesson in curiosity, community, and all the people who help make lunch happen! Our 2026–2027 award recipients represent excellence in teaching, innovation, service, and dedication to the Trinity community. Established in 2009, The Rollins Quest for Excellence Grant recognizes faculty and staff for excellent performance and dedicated service. This year’s recipients are Jessi Books, Kate Burton, Thomas Cheese, Annie Jacobs, Allen Parrott, Deisy Pinto, Kaitlin Snodgrass, Michelle Townsend, and Marcia Twiggs.

Established in 2012, the Stephen G. Kennedy Fund recognizes excellence in teaching and innovative approaches to learning. This year’s recipient is Hilary Daigre.

Established in 2018, the Hartman Family Fund for Faculty Excellence recognizes faculty members who go above and beyond in service to Trinity. This year’s recipients are April Blazejewski and Kimberly Marchant.

Learning looks a little different in every corner of Trinity! Sixth Graders spent time in the iHub with Mr. Pileggi and Ms. Scott, talking through what’s ahead for the school year, setting expectations, and getting ready for all that the Leadership Class has in store. Meanwhile, our Kindergarteners headed to the Learning Commons to read Love Monster with Ms. Lisa and then bring their own monster creations to life. Different ages, different experiences, and so many ways to learn, grow, and discover something new at Trinity.

Science was in action all across Trinity today! Our Fifth Graders explored what qualitative means in science and put their new vocabulary to work. Fourth Graders formed hypotheses about paper rockets, then built and tested them to see what happened. And our Early Learners stepped into the science room for the first time, learning about observation and exploring everything from scales and magnets to microscopes. From asking questions and making predictions to observing, testing, and discovering, our students are already thinking like scientists!
