✨I have rules to dealing with family now that I am an adult.✨

📍 You will not talk to me any type of way because you're older than me. I'm still an adult.

📍 Don't confuse my love for you as a weakness. I will cut you off.

📍 I don't owe you anything. Anything I do is out of love. Not obligation.

📍 Respect is a mutual thing.

📍 I am not a bad person for calling out toxic behaviors/people just because they've been like that for years.

📍 I don't have to tell you my business & if I do it's not yours to tell.

📍 I don't have to consult with you regarding my personal life choices.

📍 If I want your opinion, I will ask for it. Unsolicited advice from people who project their insecurities is the worst.

📍 I am not obligated to deal with you because you're family.

📍 If family events stress me out, I will not attend...you can come visit me though.

🗣️🗣️🗣️ But most importantly you have to set boundaries with the people in your life. Especially family. I love my family, but I also hold them accountable for how they treat me. Regardless of who they are.💯

I’m humbly asking for a little support as I recover from my recent surgery. ❤️

I’m currently out of work without pay for the next 4 to 6 weeks, while still having rent, my children’s needs, household expenses, and recovery expenses to keep up with.

I’m still working toward my fundraising goal, and ANY amount truly helps. $5, $10, $20… it all adds up. If you can’t donate, a share, a prayer, or simply helping get my story in front of someone who can means just as much.

I’m so grateful to everyone who has already supported, prayed, checked on me, encouraged me, and believed in me. I don’t take it for granted.
