Exciting News Alert! Get ready to explore food culture in a new way with USC Dornsifeβs Consortium for Gender, Sexuality, Race and Public Culture's debut web series, Make Me Like It! Forget the sentimental and nostalgic approach β this series dives into what happens when we just don't vibe with the foods we grew up with. In three 10-minute episodes, Professor Corrine Collins shakes things up with her British Jamaican background, tackling childhood dislikes like queen of puddings, canned corned beef, and rock cakes. Created by Collins and executive produced by Collins and Karen Tongson, with filming and direction by Moira Morel and editing by Disney Animation veteran Kai Davies, this series promises a fresh take on diaspora food culture. Make Me Like It premieres on the USC Gender & Sexuality Studies YouTube Channel and the Consortium website on Monday, April 8 at Noon PDT. Don't miss the trailer on Instagram !
