School Safety Update

Today, we completed our first fire drill of the school year. Our students and staff did a great job practicing how to safely and calmly exit the building.

Throughout the school year, we will continue practicing our monthly emergency drills, including:

• Fire drills
• Tornado/severe weather drills
• Intruder/lockdown safety drills

These drills are an important part of keeping our children and staff prepared and safe in the event of an emergency. Our teachers will always practice these procedures in a calm, age-appropriate way so that our little ones feel safe and supported.

Safety is always a priority at STAR Community School! ❤️⭐
