Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!✨🎂🎈

Dr. Seuss books have always been favorable for early readers because of the rhyming words and repetitive sounds. Before a child learns to read, they must understand that words are made up of different sounds and the manipulation of these sounds creates words. Hearing rhymes helps your little ones develop an ear for words with similar sounds.

✌🏾✨Students stick with it! It doesn’t feel like a “punishment” for them. Having a friend with you is a powerful incentive to keep a child working hard and wanting to coming back.

🤟🏾✨It helps increase confidence! Small-group discussions and activities give students a smaller audience to practice taking risks and being vulnerable. It lowers the number of peers and increases the adult support. Therefore, this helps students safely build their confidence.

I wipe tears too often because students are frustrated with trying to keep up with grade level text.

My new tutoring business literally has me on a cloud! I’m beyond excited to give a new group of students the wings they need to fly 🫶🏾✨.

My most favorite part about helping students learn to read and write is seeing their confidence grow! I seriously get teary eyed listening to my beginning readers become fluent readers 🥹.
