Grandparents & Family Friends Day was a huge success!
We gathered as a community to celebrate the people who pour love, time, and history into our children’s lives. This day is all about coming together, remembering the many ways we show up for each other, and honoring those who have paved the way for us through their sacrifices and care.
Our students shared beautiful performances that reflected their hard work and their growing understanding of what it means to build a compassionate world. Their voices, movements, and stories reminded us that community is something we practice—every single day.
This year’s feast featured warm bowls of Three Sisters Soup and our very own Stone Soup—made entirely by our kids. Every student helped chop the vegetables their families contributed, transforming individual ingredients into one big pot of shared nourishment. It was communal care in action, and it tasted just as meaningful as it felt.
And thanks to the generosity and love of our community members and honored guests, we raised almost $2,000 to support our work. From our table to yours—thank you.
It was a packed house with full hearts and fuller bellies. We’re grateful for every person who showed up and every child, parent, teacher and grandparent or family friend who helped make this day unforgettable. ❤️🍲✨

✊👟 The countdown is on — only 7 days until October 10th!
The Morgan Oliver School for Anti-Racism is hosting our annual Walkathon 💙💚 — our biggest fundraiser of the year. On October 10, our Elementary and Early care students will be out walking and running laps, raising funds to keep our school thriving as we grow the next generation of Allies, Activists, and Organizers.
We’re already on track to blow past our $10,000 goal once laps are tallied 💥 — but we need every family, friend, and community member to get in the game.
