Attention ‼️‼️‼️ Do you know a child who would benefit from Islamic education but price is a concern ? COME TO THE FRONT!!!!

What It Is
The Georgia Promise Scholarship is a state-funded program giving eligible families up to $6,500 per year, per student, paid in four quarterly installments. Families can use it toward tuition at Mohammed Schools, along with textbooks, tutoring, and other approved education expenses.
Why It Matters
This is real money on the table for our families, at zero cost to apply, and the application window is short. If we don’t push this out clearly and repeatedly, families who qualify could easily miss it simply because they never heard about it or didn’t realize they were eligible.

Application window: August 1-31, 2026
Apply at: mygeorgiapromise.org
Eligibility: child attended a GA public school for two consecutive semesters (or is a rising kindergartner), zoned to a public school on the state’s lowest-performing 25% list, family has lived in GA at least 1 year, priority given to households at or below 400% of the federal poverty level
What’s needed to apply: proof of GA residency, a utility bill or lease/mortgage statement, proof of child’s current or prior school enrollment

Every season of service leaves a lasting legacy. As several Board members complete their terms on the Board of Directors for Mohammed Schools of Atlanta, we pause to express our deepest appreciation for the time, wisdom, and dedication they have given to our K-12 school.

For the past two years, these remarkable women have helped strengthen our governance, challenged us to examine and improve our practices, fostered stronger relationships, kept us focused on implementing our strategic plan, and made thoughtful decisions that will benefit our school for years to come.
