Not all heroes wear capes β some wear polos, radios, and step in without hesitation when our students need them most. ππ€β€οΈπ
During a day of fishing, a bus ramp malfunctioned with a student still on the lift. Superintendent Mark Lumpkin immediately jumped in and hand-cranked the ramp while Executive Director of Special Education Nancy Woods, with assistance from Michael McGee, worked together to safely push the ramp closed and ensure the student was secure.
Moments like this remind us that teamwork, calm leadership, and a heart for students make all the difference. Thank you to these unsung heroes for always putting students first and turning a stressful moment into one filled with care, compassion, and problem-solving.
