🍎 Ms. Jeria’s Kindergarten Corner: Kindergarten Countdown

Many parents worry that their child isn’t ready for kindergarten or can’t sit still long enough to learn. Here’s a little teacher wisdom: learning doesn’t only happen at a desk.

Some of the best learning happens during everyday moments—on the drive to the grocery store, while running errands, or singing in the car on the way home. 🚗🎶

Try these simple activities with your little learner:

🚦 Read road signs together.

🎵 Sing songs and nursery rhymes.

🔍 Go on a letter hunt.

Young children learn through routine and repetition. The more they hear, see, and practice letters and sounds, the more confident they become.

And remember: your child does not need to know everything before the first day of kindergarten. They just need opportunities to learn, explore, and grow. ❤️
