Next Gen Emory University

Up next from our Next Gen 2024 crew is Hemani Purkayastha! Hemani graduated as valedictorian of Cross Keys High School. She will also be joining us at Emory in the fall, where she will pursue an Accounting major on the Pre-Med track. Great work, Hemani! I'll be sure to keep my fridge stocked with Diet Coke for you!

Today, we are celebrating Mary Yeboah! Mary graduated as salutatorian from South Cobb High School, where she was a part of the Academy of Research and Medical Science. We are excited that Mary will be joining us at Emory in the fall, and she plans to major in Biology with a minor in Predictive Health. We are so proud of you, Mary! Great work!

Today we are celebrating Bervelyn Atampugre. Bervelyn was a part of Next Gen 2024, and she graduated from Edina High School. She is a Questbridge Scholar and will be attending Duke University, majoring in Neuroscience on a pre-med track. Congrats, Bervelyn!

Today, we celebrate Abigail Lajara from Next Gen 2024. Abigail has graduated from Peachtree Ridge High School and will be attending Georgia Tech in the fall. She definitely isn't afraid of hard work: during Next Gen last summer, she was always up extra early to exercise and continued to work at her part-time job. Abigail, we can't wait to see the amazing things you do at Tech!

Next up on our list of amazing 2025 graduates is Heidy Roblero-Chavez! Heidy was a member of the Next Gen 2024 cohort, and she graduated from Chamblee High School. She was selected as a QuestBridge Scholar and will attend Emory University, where she will major in Biology and History on the pre-med track. Heidy, we are so proud of you and excited that we'll get to see you around campus this fall! Congratulations!

Today, we are celebrating the multi-talented Raiyaan Malenya! Raiyaan is graduating from Tucker High School, and she will be attending Georgia Tech, where she will study Neuroscience. Raiyaan was a part of Next Gen 2024, and she kept us entertained with her witty commentary and incredible artistic skills! Congrats on all of your amazing accomplishments, Raiyaan!

Zachary Eddy is our first graduate from Next Gen 2024 that we are celebrating. Zachary is graduating from Lakeside High School, and he will be headed to Harvard in the fall where he will major in Neuroscience. Zachary, we know you will do great things at Harvard while mixing in plenty of dance breaks!

Our application for summer 2025 is now live! Applications are due February 14, 2025.
