I use AI every single day.

To write faster. To think through problems. To move at a speed I could not match alone.

And I still think it is making most people dumber.

Not because the tool is broken. Because we stopped thinking before we opened it.

We used to sit with a problem. Turn it over. Struggle with it a little. That struggle is where the thinking happened.

Now we just ask the machine.

And then we wonder why every strategy deck looks the same. Why every email sounds the same. Why nobody in the room can make a decision without checking with an algorithm first.

AI did not take your thinking.

You gave it away.

Use the tool. Just do not let it use you.

Everyone wants the “one-person company”
Meanwhile they can’t take a day off.

Had this coaching call yesterday.

We spent 45 minutes on one bad employee.

45 minutes.

And at some point I just stopped and said... you realize we do this all the time, right? We waste so much time trying to drag somebody across a finish line they don't even want to cross.

While our best people sit there. Hungry & waiting. Slowly checking out because nobody's pouring into them.

We're out here trying to turn a D into a C minus.

Meanwhile our A players are just quitting in their heads.

Flip it this week. Every hour you spend on your worst employee, give it to your best one instead.

Your A player will notice. They always do.

There's a difference between someone who has studied the game and someone who has played it.

I've been the CEO trying to figure out why my best people keep leaving. I've been the one who couldn't go on vacation without my phone blowing up. I've been the guy who built a team that ran on me instead of running on its own.

I didn't read about that stuff. I lived it.

So when I sit down with a founder, I'm not pulling from a case study. I'm pulling from the moments I wish someone had been in the room with me.

Steve Jobs once said consultants don't have anything at risk. They come in, observe, hand you a roadmap, and leave before the hard part. They never have to fire the person they told you to hire. They never sit across from a team that's confused and looking to you for answers.

That's not me.

I've played this game. And that changes everything about how I help you.

Every CEO hits a moment where they think "I have no idea what I am doing."

Nobody talks about that part.

You started the business because you were good at the work. Nobody handed you a manual on how to lead people, build structure, or grow a company without losing your mind in the process.

That is not a personal failure. That is just the reality of founding something.

I built Level Up Your Leadership specifically for this. Structure, clear goals, and a team that actually moves in the same direction. No theory. No fluff.

If this sounds familiar, watch this.

Founders love to fix their business.

Rarely do they fix themselves first.

Sat down with Matt Hines to talk about the thing nobody wants to hear. When you are in the dirt every day running the operation, it is physically impossible to see what is actually holding growth back.

Your ego might be the ceiling.

Watch this. It is 4 minutes and worth every one of them.

If you left your business for two weeks tomorrow, what would break?

Most founders already know the answer. That's the problem.

Everything important still runs through you - not because your team isn't capable, but because the structure isn't there.

That's what this group is for.

Free. Private. Real conversations about building a business that runs without you.

Just recorded a quick video about something I see a lot with new hires.

Most companies create a 30/60/90 day onboarding plan and assume it will stay accurate the whole time.

It rarely does.

Work changes.
People learn differently.
Priorities shift.

Instead of trying to map out the whole thing from day one, I think about onboarding like handing over a baton.

First 30 days → leader owns the plan
Next 30 days → leader and employee build it together
Last 30 days → employee brings the plan

At that point they've taken ownership of their own development.

Quick 4-minute video if you're building a team or thinking about onboarding.

Calling all Leaders, business owners, and entrepreneurs

Feeling busy… but not in control?

A founder told me last year:
“I’m tired. I can’t keep up with this much longer.”

Revenue was okay. The team was capable.

But every week felt chaotic.

So we simplified everything into one tool: THE WEEKLY LEADERSHIP BLUEPRINT. It worked!

Inside:
- Your Top 3 priorities
- The 3-5 numbers that actually matter
- Biggest issues to solve
- Find where you’re the bottleneck

Nothing fancy. Just focus. Just discipline. Just clarity.

If your leadership meetings feel like updates instead of decisions, this will change the game.

You can get the exact template we use for FREE.

👉 Join the Exclusive Facebook group now to download the Weekly Leadership Blueprint and start using it this week.

Run it for 4 weeks and see how fast things turn around.

After coaching 100+ CEOs over the past 5 years, I’ve noticed something.

Most leaders aren’t stuck because they’re incapable.

They’re stuck because no one ever gave them a real leadership roadmap.

They got promoted.
They started a business.
They hired people.
They figured it out as they went.

And now?

They’re in the middle of everything.

Every big decision.
Every conflict.
Every exception.
Every “just run it by me.”

That doesn’t scale.

Guesswork doesn’t scale.
Working harder doesn’t scale.
Being the hero doesn’t scale.

Clarity does.

Clear decisions.
Clear ownership.
Clear standards.
Clear expectations.

That’s why I built Level Up Your Leadership.

Not as a motivational course.
Not as theory.
Not as another set of ideas.

But as a practical roadmap for founders and leaders who want to build a business that runs without them being involved in every major move.

Inside LUYL, we focus on:

• How to stop being the center of every decision
• How to delegate without creating more cleanup
• How to build leaders inside your company
• How to create accountability without micromanaging
• How to design structure that actually holds

If you’re in this group, you already know something feels heavy.

This is the next step.

Watch the video.
If it resonates, you’ll know.

And if you’re ready for structure instead of guesswork, Level Up Your Leadership is where we start.

If you run a real business, this is for you.

Not a side hustle.
Not a startup chasing funding.

A real company.
With payroll.
With managers.
With pressure.

Over the last few years, I’ve worked with a lot of founders who look successful on paper…

But behind the scenes?

Everything still runs through them.

Every big decision.
Every tough call.
Every “just check with him first.”

That gets heavy.

And it’s not because you’re bad at leadership.
It’s because nobody ever showed you how to build a business that doesn’t depend on you for every important move.

So I built a PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP called “Build a Business That Runs Without You.”

No hype.
No motivational noise.
No hustle talk.

Just real conversations about:

• Getting out of the middle of everything
• Setting clear ownership
• Building leaders inside your company
• Creating standards that hold
• Structuring your business so you can actually step away

If you’re serious about building a business that runs without you, this is your room.

It’s private.
It’s free.
It’s practical.
