Great opportunity for high school migrant students!
The Georgia Migrant Education Summer Leadership Academy is a FREE week-long camp at Valdosta State University (June 1–8). Students will stay in dorms, take classes, and build leadership skills with peers from across the state!
Who can apply:
Migrant students (grades 9–12)
Must be 14+ by June 1

Yesterday afternoon migrant students and families had an opportunity to visit East Georgia State College in Swainsboro! The purpose of the visit to was to broaden their horizons for post-secondary education and explore their future options. Thank you to all that attended!

Migrant Education Program participants in grades 8-12 and their families are invited to visit East Georgia State College on December 1st for a College Experience Day. Attendees will tour the campus, hear from professors, learn about campus life, speak with current college students, discover financial aid opportunities, and learn about the admissions process.
