💬 Why did Anuj join EIC?💬 "I joined EIC because I have been attending ISSS events since my first year and I love the international, intercultural, and inclusive environment there. It has definitely made my life easier at Emory. As an international student with many international friends, I believe I can help make my voice count, as well as the voices of others, through EIC. 🌍 Meet Peace Cyebukayire, a Class of 2027 student from Kigali, Rwanda!

Peace is pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Emory College of Arts and Sciences, with a minor in African American Studies. In her third year as an EIC member, Peace will serve this year as a co-captain of the team.

💬 She reflected, “Being part of incredible stories shaped through ISSS events and initiatives like the Buddy Program continues to connect me with people from all walks of life at Emory. It empowers me to grow as a student and a supporter for others learning their own ways of belonging.”
