It’s officially the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL in Newton County Schools! What an incredible year it has been filled with achievements, memories, growth, and moments worth celebrating.

Reminder: Today is an early release day for students.

As we close out another amazing school year, we want to thank our students, staff, families, and community for making 2025-2026 so special. We hope everyone enjoys a fun, safe, and relaxing summer break!

Summer meals are coming back! ☀️🍎

Newton County Schools will once again offer FREE summer meals for children 18 and under (or 21 and under for individuals with disabilities) through our 2026 Summer Meals Program.

Families will have access to:
• Weekly meal pick-up locations with 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child
• Daily on-site meal locations throughout the community

Whether your family needs grab-and-go convenience or daily meal service, we’re proud to help ensure children across Newton County continue to have access to nutritious meals all summer long.

Special thanks to the Chi Tau Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated of Rockdale and Newton County and baby Noah for the very generous donation of supplies and uniforms. We are wrapping up the school year and they are getting us ready for next year. We are truly thankful for their support of our school!
