Our Heavenly Father,

As the day draws to a close and darkness settles upon Your creation, we gather together before Your throne, grateful for Your steadfast presence throughout all the hours You've given us. We remember Your promise in Psalm 121:3-4, "He will not let your foot slip - He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."

Mighty Yahweh, as we prepare for rest, we thank You for being our strength through every moment of this day - through its victories and challenges, its joys and struggles. We find comfort in Your word from Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Adonai, alone make me dwell in safety."

We ask for Your protective shield to remain over our households as we sleep. Watch over our families, guard our friends, and extend Your protective hand even to those who may stand against us. As it is written in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the shelter of Elyon will abide in the shadow of Shaddai. I will say of Adonai, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"

Even in the night hours, be the strength of those who cannot sleep, the comfort of those who are afraid, and the peace of those whose minds are troubled. Remind us of Your promise in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble before them, for Adonai your God is the One who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you."

We lay down the burdens of this day at Your feet, finding rest in the shelter of Your mighty wings. As Psalm 3:5-6 assures us, "I lay down and slept. I awoke, for Adonai sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around."

Before we close our eyes, we thank You for being our guardian and protector, our source of strength and our mighty fortress. We rest secure in the knowledge of Your word from Psalm 16:7-8, "I bless Adonai who counsels me - even in the night my heart instructs me. I have set Adonai always before me. Since He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken."

Grant us peaceful sleep, Heavenly Father, that we might arise renewed in Your strength, ready to face tomorrow with courage and faith. Keep watch over our sleep, guard our homes, and let Your angels stand sentinel over all we love.

In the precious name of Yeshua our Messiah we pray,
Amen.

Our Heavenly Father,

As we pause in the midst of this day's activities, we come before Your throne with hearts overflowing with gratitude, acknowledging Your mighty hand that has sustained us thus far. We thank You, Yahweh, for Your word in Exodus 15:2 that declares, "Adonai is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will glorify Him, my father's God, and I will exalt Him."

With profound thankfulness, we recognize Your strength manifesting in every step we've taken today. We are grateful for the power You have given us to overcome obstacles, to persist through challenges, and to stand firm in our faith. As it is written in 2 Samuel 22:33, "God is my strong fortress and He makes my way straight."

Most gracious Father, we offer our deepest appreciation for the protection You continue to extend over our families, our friends, and even those who may stand against us. We thank You for the wisdom in Your word from Psalm 28:7, "Adonai is my strength and my shield. My heart trusted in Him, and I was helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him."

We express our gratitude for the strength You provide in decision-making, for illuminating our paths with Your divine wisdom, and for granting us clarity when we seek Your guidance. As promised in Psalm 29:11, "Adonai will give strength to His people. Adonai will bless His people with shalom."

With humble hearts, we thank You for being our unfailing source of strength, as reminded in Psalm 18:1-2, "I love you, Adonai my strength. Adonai is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in Him I take refuge, my shield, my horn of salvation, my stronghold."

We are grateful for Your boundless grace that renews us, Your mercy that sustains us, and Your love that strengthens us. Thank You for being our strong tower, our refuge, and our ever-present help in times of need.

As we continue through this day, we express our deepest appreciation for Your faithfulness, remembering Your promise in Nehemiah 8:10, "The joy of Adonai is your strength." May our gratitude rise as a sweet incense before Your throne, and may our lives continue to testify to Your strengthening power.

In the mighty name of Yeshua, with thankful hearts we pray,
Amen.

In The World but Not Of The World (Part 2)
By The Feeding of The Flock

Living Set Apart:

As followers of Yeshua, we are called to live differently from the world. This doesn’t mean isolating ourselves but rather being mindful that our actions reflect our faith. Paul reminds us:

"Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect."
(Romans 12:2, Tree of Life Version)

It’s not about legalism or judgment but about seeking what pleases Adonai. When we participate in something, we should ask ourselves: Does this glorify Yeshua? Does this draw me closer to Him?

Approaching Others with Love:

While it’s important to evaluate our own actions, it’s equally important to approach others with compassion and understanding. Some believers may not yet be aware of these connections or may see these holidays as opportunities to focus on Yeshua. We should remember:

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so also you must love one another."
(John 13:34, Tree of Life Version)

Our goal should never be to condemn but to gently encourage one another toward deeper devotion to Yeshua. For those who are new to faith or still learning, let’s extend grace while remaining steadfast in our own convictions.

Questions for Reflection:

1. How can we honor Yeshua in everything we do without compromising our faith?
2. What steps can we take to ensure our actions reflect our devotion to Adonai?
3. How can we lovingly share this perspective with others who may not yet understand?

Let’s discuss! Share your thoughts below—this is a space for respectful dialogue where we can grow together as followers of Yeshua.

In The World, But Not Of The World (Part 1)
By: The 7ellowship / The Feeding of The Flock

Dear friends, as we walk in faith, it’s important to examine the practices we engage in and ensure they align with our devotion to Yeshua. Today, let’s have a thoughtful and loving discussion about the origins of modern holidays and why it’s worth considering how these celebrations may impact our walk with the Messiah.

The Origins of Modern Holidays:

Many of the holidays celebrated today have roots in ancient pagan customs, often tied to false gods or practices that contradict the worship of the one true God. Let’s take a closer look:

-Christmas:While many celebrate this as the birth of Yeshua, customs such as decorating evergreen trees, exchanging gifts, and even the date of December 25th are linked to Roman pagan festivals like Saturnalia and Sol Invictus.

-Easter: The name "Easter" originates from Eostre, a pagan goddess of fertility, and symbols like eggs and rabbits were part of ancient fertility rituals rather than being connected to Yeshua's resurrection.

-Halloween: This holiday traces back to Samhain, a Celtic festival where people believed spirits roamed the earth. Many modern practices like costumes and jack-o’-lanterns stem from these superstitions.

-Valentine's Day: This day of love has its origins in Lupercalia, a Roman festival celebrating fertility through rituals that honored pagan deities.

These origins raise an important question for us as believers: Are we honoring Yeshua when we participate in activities rooted in practices that once glorified other gods?

What Does Scripture Say?:

The Word of God provides clear guidance on how we are to live set apart lives. Adonai calls His people to avoid adopting customs that dishonor Him:

"Thus says Adonai: ‘Do not learn the way of the nations or be frightened by signs in the heavens—though the nations are terrified by them.’"
(Jeremiah 10:2, Tree of Life Version)

This passage serves as a powerful reminder that we are not called to follow worldly ways but instead to live according to God’s will.

Additionally, Scripture warns us about blending worship of Adonai with practices that are rooted in idolatry:

"You must not worship Adonai your God in their way, because they worship their gods in every abominable way that Adonai hates."
(Deuteronomy 12:31a, Tree of Life Version)

Title: "Your Goodness is Running After Me: A Spoken Word Testimony of God's Love" by The 7Ellowship

In the quiet of the morning, before the dawn breaks free,
I stand amidst the silence, where Your love envelops me.
With every breath, a whisper, a gentle, steadfast plea,
"Your goodness is running after me."

From the pages of Your Word, where promises unfold,
I read of love so vast, of mercies yet untold.
"God demonstrates His own love for us in this," so bold,
"While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8), love foretold.

In the trials and the tempest, when shadows mask the day,
Your faithfulness, a beacon, illuminates the way.
"The Lord is faithful," steadfast, never to betray,
"He will establish you and guard you against the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:3), come what may.

"Your goodness is running after me," a refrain so sweet,
In every act of kindness, in every heart we meet.
For in the face of the stranger, Your love we often greet,
A reflection of Your heart, in the bustling city street.

In the stillness of the night, when fears are magnified,
Your voice, a gentle whisper, where my doubts reside.
"I have loved you with an everlasting love," You confide,
"With loving-kindness, I have drawn you" (Jeremiah 31:3), You provide.

"Your goodness is running after me," in the sunrise's glow,
In the laughter of the children, in the river's gentle flow.
In the depths of creation, Your craftsmanship You show,
A reminder of Your love, in the world below.

For "God so loved the world," a truth so profound,
"He gave His one and only Son," where hope is found.
"That whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16), a love unbound.

"Your goodness is running after me," in the storm and in the calm,
In the healing of the broken, in the singing of the psalm.
In the moments of despair, Your presence is a balm,
A testament to Your goodness, a soothing, healing salm.

So, I'll sing of Your goodness, till my final breath,
Of Your unfailing love, stronger than death.
"Your goodness is running after me," with every step,
A declaration of Your love, till my very last breath.

In this spoken word piece, the repeated stances of "Your goodness is running after me" serve as a reminder of God's relentless pursuit of His children, His unwavering love, and His boundless goodness. The incorporation of Bible verses aims to root the piece in scriptural truths, showcasing the beautiful love and goodness of God as revealed through His Word and His actions.

Introduction:
Are you ready to dive deep into the most pressing issues of our time? Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking debate on the clash between Biblical teachings and modern-day social and cultural norms. This edition of "The Confessional" will explore topics such as marriage, gender roles, household structure, s*xual purity, the Red Pill society, the feminist movement, and living for God in today's world.

📜 Topics for Debate:

1. Marriage and Household Order:
- Biblical View: "This is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24, TLV)

- Modern Challenge:Why should modern couples adhere to the biblical concept of "one flesh" in marriage when the current divorce rate suggests that marriage is often a temporary arrangement?

2. Gender Roles:
-Biblical View: "Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as also Christ is the head of His Body, the church—He Himself being the Savior of the body." (Ephesians 5:22-23, TLV)

-Modern Challenge:How can the Bible's instruction for wives to submit to their husbands be relevant today when women are increasingly independent and capable of leading households themselves?

3. Sexual Purity:
- Biblical View:"For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from s*xual immorality." (1 Thessalonians 4:3, TLV)

-Modern Challenge:Why should young people abstain from premarital s*x when hookup culture is widely accepted and seen as a normal part of dating?

4. Red Pill Movement:
-Biblical View:"Flee s*xual immorality! Every other sin a person commits is outside the body—but the s*xually immoral person sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18, TLV)

-Modern Challenge:Why should high-value men adhere to biblical s*xual ethics when modern society often celebrates their ability to have multiple partners without commitment?

5. Feminist Movement:
-Biblical View: "Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord." (Colossians 3:18, TLV)

-Modern Challenge:How can the Bible's portrayal of women as caregivers and homemakers be reconciled with the feminist movement that advocates for women's empowerment and career advancement?

6. Homos*xuality:
-Biblical View:"You are not to lie with a man, as with a woman—that is an abomination." (Leviticus 18:22, TLV)

-Modern Challenge:How can the Bible's condemnation of homos*xuality be justified in a society that increasingly accepts and celebrates LGBTQ+ relationships and identities?

7. Church Leadership:
- Biblical View: "But I do not allow a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather she is to remain quiet." (1 Timothy 2:12, TLV)

Modern Challenge:
Why should women be restricted from leading churches and being head pastors when modern society promotes gender equality and women have proven to be effective leaders in various fields?

Don't miss this opportunity to engage in a meaningful discussion that bridges the gap between ancient wisdom and contemporary life. Mark your calendars and join us for a debate that promises to be both enlightening and challenging.
