Oracle Atlanta Toastmasters education meeting for February 20, 2025, had a fun word of the day. It is really a word? Maybe, maybe not. Someone in the 1600s tried to make it a word, with very limited success. Maybe we can help this poor word out by using it. Here, we'll give it a try:

"It's c-c-c-cold today! We hope everyone has a chance to enjoy the apricity during these freezing cold days!"

Our August hybrid meeting was a smashing success! 15 in house (including 3 first time guests) and a handful more from over Zoom! Congratulations also to our 2023-2024 officers inducted at today’s meeting! It was the first time some of us had seen each other in person since before the pandemic shut down our former meeting place in March of 2020! 🏆

Did you know Oracle Atlanta Toastmasters, which transitioned to weekly virtual meetings in March 2020, has been meeting with a hybrid in-person/virtual format, once per month, in 2023? (And still meeting virtually the other weeks of the month!) If you were waiting for us to return in person, the wait is over!

Did you know Oracle Atlanta Toastmasters now has over 30 members, located not only in Georgia, but also Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas, New York and Canada?

Today our theme was "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" but it was also May the Fourth so we had a combo baseball/Star Wars meeting. (No Grogus were harmed in the making of this meeting.)
