We’re listening.
Everyone has that one thing about this field that keeps them up at night or makes the day harder than it needs to be. If you had the power to change just one aspect of social work, what would it be?
Sharing our "one thing" helps us realize we aren't alone in the struggle & it’s the first step toward advocating for something better.

We don’t talk about this enough.
Both paths have pros and challenges.

Unpopular opinion: Questioning your career is a sign of growth, not a lack of commitment.
We grow, our lives change, and our capacity shifts. Loving what you do doesn’t mean you have to do it exactly the same way for 40 years.
Sometimes questioning the "how" is the only way to protect the "why." If you’ve ever felt guilty for wondering "what’s next?" even though you love the work...this is your reminder to let that guilt go.

Is it burnout, or is it a lack of support?
One requires a vacation; the other requires a change in the field. Often, we have the heart for the work, but we don't have the tools or the team behind us to make it sustainable long-term.
To the Social Workers who are still showing up despite the lack of support: We see you. What is one thing that would make you feel more supported in your role today?

Burnout doesn’t always look obvious.
Sometimes it looks like functioning…
but feeling off.
Take a moment to check in with yourself.

No judgment here...
Social Work is deeply rewarding, but it’s also incredibly heavy. Whether you’re feeling completely aligned or just trying to make it to Friday, your experience is valid.
Let’s talk about where you are in the field right now. Your honesty might be exactly what a colleague needs to hear to feel less alone.
