We focus on teaching math and science using disease and human physiology as the spring board for learning. We teach at CHOA Egleston and Hughes Spalding.

As part of Dr. Lam’s NSF CAREER grant an educational K-12 outreach program was created. Specifically, teaching math and science to hospitalized children using their own disease as the motivation and springboards for learning. 🎓 Coulter BME Commencement Spotlight

Ashika Srivastava came to Georgia Tech with a goal of improving healthcare through engineering.

She combined hands-on industry experience, global health innovation, and student leadership, while earning national recognition for her research and service. This fall, she’ll continue her journey at Coulter BME as a graduate student in biomedical innovation.
