🎉 Big News! The Southern Crescent Technical College Foundation has been awarded a $9,982 grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to support Adult Literacy!
This generous grant will help provide over 200 GED subject exam scholarships to students in need of financial assistance — breaking down barriers and opening doors to brighter futures.

Ogeechee Technical College held its annual commencement ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on May 14 in Hanner Fieldhouse on the campus of Georgia Southern University in front of over 3,000 guests.

371 students were honored before an energy-filled audience of faculty, staff, family members, friends, and local dignitaries. Students who have earned their associate’s degrees, diplomas, technical certificates of credit, and Georgia High School Equivalency diplomas were all recognized and celebrated throughout the evening’s ceremony.

Congratulations to our newest class of IET Construction Ready graduates! These students completed the 3-week program where they earned certifications in Forklift, Construction Basics, and Georgia Best while attending Adult Education classes. They also completed resumes, work portfolios, and enjoyed being mentored by Arris Hill, Transition Specialist. We are so proud of these graduates!
