🐄🎉 National MooFest – A Celebration of Dairy & Community! 🥛✨
Get ready for McMinn County beloved dairy festival—National MooFest is back on Saturday, June 6th in historic downtown Athens, Tennessee! From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., join the fun as we celebrate all things dairy, agriculture, and local culture! Join this family friendly event featuring several popular activities including the Maggie Strutt, Athens Soap Box Derby qualifying finals, local shopping, over 100 food, crafts and arts vendors, Mayfield Dairy Farms contests, and interactive agricultural exhibits. There will also be live entertainment on two stages ending with a bluegrass theme. MooFest is presented by Mayfield Dairy Farms celebrating 100 years of producing world famous ice cream, The City of Athens, McMinn County Tourism Board, AgCentral, UT Extension and Friendly City Festivals.

Through the Adopt a Cow program, students in Georgia followed along as calves Clementine, Lark, and Raven from Big Sandy Creek Dairy grew throughout the year. The Adopt a Cow program is a free, year‑long experience for your classroom.
