Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond.
I can’t control anyone else’s words, actions, or projections — but I can control whether I let them shape me. That choice will always be mine.
For those of us with ADHD, impulsivity makes it tempting to respond to everything — every comment, every look, every imagined judgment.
Coaching teaches us that wisdom is in the pause. The real power isn’t in reacting; it’s in choosing.
When we choose carefully, we reclaim energy, peace, and freedom. 💚

Last weekend, we cheered my husband on at the Member-Guest golf tournament.
He won the championship flight and placed second in the shootout—I couldn’t have been prouder. 💚
What made it even sweeter?
I was present.
No racing thoughts. No guilt about what wasn’t done. Just joy.
That same week, a client sent me a photo of herself sipping coffee in her favorite chair—calm, unrushed, at peace.
Six months ago, she came to me overwhelmed. She didn’t need more help.
She needed less noise. Better systems. Space to breathe.
That’s what we created together.
✨ To me, this is what success looks like—for her, and for me.
What would “not drowning” look like for you right now?
Tell me below—I’d love to hear. 💬

Ever notice how it’s easier to tackle a mess when someone else is just there with you?
That’s not a coincidence. It’s called body doubling—and it’s one of the best-kept ADHD secrets out there.
You don’t need them to fold laundry or organize the closet for you.
You just need the presence of a spouse, friend, or even a phone call with someone you trust. That quiet accountability? It works magic on an overwhelmed brain.
Here’s how I use it:
– I ask my spouse to drink his coffee in the bedroom while I unpack
– I call a friend while tidying the kitchen
– I invite someone over to sit with me while I tackle a big project
Because I don’t need someone to do it for me.
I just need someone there while I do it.
If you’ve ever wondered why it feels easier when someone’s around—now you know. ADHD brains thrive in company. Not because we’re incapable… but because we’re wired for connection.
You don’t need motivation. You need momentum. And maybe a friend on FaceTime.

She was about to blow up her future... over a text.
A client of mine got a message that made her stomach drop. Within seconds, she was typing out a defensive response—angry, anxious, ready to “set the record straight.”
The problem?
The person on the other end of that text held real power over her next opportunity.
This is ADHD at its core: reacting before reflecting. Letting emotion hijack the brain.
So here’s your Tip of the Day:
When you get a message that makes you spiral, don’t respond. Regulate.
– Step away.
– Breathe.
– Say what you’re feeling, not what you’re sending.
She and I talked it through, and what she really needed wasn’t a snappy comeback—it was a strategy.
That’s why my ADHD coaching programs are 90 days. Not because change is slow—but because emotional control takes practice. And learning when to pause can be the most powerful move you make.
If you’ve ever regretted a message you sent too fast… you’re not alone. But you don’t have to stay stuck in reaction mode.
Tired of letting your emotions call the shots? Let’s change that.

Yesterday was Mother’s Day.
And today? You’re probably back to doing everything for everyone again.
If you’re feeling a little whiplash—like one day you were celebrated and the next you’re buried in tasks, meals, and mess—you’re not alone.
Here’s the question I ask myself on days like this:
“What does success look like today?”
Not in general. Not forever.
Just for today.
I grab a sticky note and write down three things that would make me feel successful today.
Sometimes it’s:
Send one overdue email
Fold the towels
Fill out form for accountant.
It’s not about getting it all done.
It’s about defining enoughness on your terms.
This is the kind of simple, powerful shift I teach inside the ADHD Life Overhaul—especially to women who are done measuring their worth by how much they checked off someone else’s list.
If this resonates with you, click the link in bio or send me a DM.
You’re not lazy. You’re not failing. You just need a different way.
💛
