Who told you that you could fold on God’s plan’s for your life? Who gave you the authority to give up on your purpose? How dare you stop believing in the path that God worked so hard to pave for you? Yes it’s tough but not impossible. God said you can do it. God is trusting you to do it. God ordered YOUR steps so no one else can get it done. Don’t sleep on yourself because God is up preparing you for the right people. God is whispering in ears to get the world ready for you and your gifts, and all you have to do is show up. God said it’s okay if you are unprepared because someone will be sent to prepare you. It is okay if you are afraid because God said somebody is going to understand your pain. God said all you have to do is show up! God has the rest covered. So don’t throw the towel in. You are ready, you have the tools. You have the time. You just have to commit and SHOW UP. Show up for your purpose how you show up for those ungrateful people. Show up for your dreams how you show up for that 9-5. Show up for the people who need you the way you show up for those who use you. Recognize your greatness how you recognize your trauma. See yourself the way you always wanted your partner to see you. Give God the glory and give yourself the love so that your cup will run and overflow into the lives of the many people that are waiting for you to be who God has called you to be!

Story time:

One day I was randomly sitting outside the home of my dreams. I was sooo sad and felt defeated, I felt defeated in both life and love. I started to pray. I said “God, what must I do to live the life of my dreams? I’m working hard now but this job is not going to cut it. What is it that you want me to do to achieve my full purpose?” CLEAR AS DAY I KID YOU NOT I heard “YOUR VOICE”. It felt like thunder and sent chills down my spine. I started my car up and rushed home cause WTF was that?

The very next day I received a message asking me to come speak to students at SUNY Broome all expense paid. I asked why me, and was told it was after this person had seen a video I posted speaking my truth. I began feeling confident in what I heard God say to me. I wanted to use my voice I wanted to help people. I started coaching, and writing, and producing, and speaking, and it felt soooooo good.

It didn’t last long though. I got caught back up in my own cycle of trauma, wanting love, wanting to be loved, wanting to be desired. I started feeling incapable of using my voice to help others because I felt like I couldn’t even get myself together. Which was crazy cause I had already proven how affective I was. I just needed a clear mind and I could do anything. But nothing about my life was clear so I just shut up.

Everyday I am reminded of that moment that I was scared to death after hearing “YOUR VOICE”. With all of that said, I started using my voice again and God is leading me back in the direction that I was called in to many years ago and I am very blessed to have found what makes me, me again.

I say this to say, God has a purpose for all of us and he never used perfect people to do his work. Don’t anyone including yourself see seeds of doubt into the life God has for you!
