Today I almost talked myself out of posting this picture.
Not because I wasnāt proud of where I was headedā¦ but because I started focusing on how I looked.
Earlier today, I told my daughter, āYou look just like me.ā And without hesitation she said, āExcept for those black rings around your eyes.ā Whew. Kids will humble you quickly. šš„“š
But honestly, it sat with me for a minute.
As women, especially while building something, we can become so focused on our flaws that we forget to acknowledge the bigger picture.
In this moment, my car was packed with balloons, I was on the way to a setup, building something I prayed for, creating with purposeā¦ and yet I almost let insecurity stop me from showing up.
So Iām posting this as a reminder:
You do not have to look perfect to keep going.
You do not have to feel perfect to show up.
And sometimes the very season thatās stretching you will also show on you.
But tired doesnāt mean ungrateful.
Busy doesnāt mean unworthy.
And imperfect doesnāt mean unqualified.
Still showing up. Still building. Still becoming.
Today I ran into .fund2flip at Target. We first met in 2022 days in Atlanta at the EZPZ Transformation Workshop, where I attended as a volunteer. He was one of the first people who ever encouraged me to teach balloon classes.
We talked, reflected, and somehow he decided it was the perfect opportunity to record me talking about my business š Talking about āgive me your phoneā¦ now you have two videos for content āš„“ OMGā¦ I was hella nervous.
But what stayed with me the most was the reminder that Iām capable of moreā¦ that I need to do more.
Not because Iām not doing enough, but because thereās still so much inside of me that I havenāt fully tapped into yet.
Sometimes God will send reminders through people who saw your potential before you fully saw it yourself.
This interaction reminded me that Iāve been shrinking parts of myself at times. Playing small. Overthinking. Second-guessing. Hiding behind fear, perfectionism, and comfort.
And maybe this is your reminder too:
Stop letting fear talk you out of what God already placed inside of you.
A reminder for the Entrepreneurs who knows they are called for more:
You were styled on purpose. Your vision, your voice, and your journey were not given to you by accident. Stay rooted in your faith, build your confidence, and keep taking action even when it feels uncomfortable.
The person youāre becoming requires courage, consistency, and belief in what God placed inside of you. Donāt shrink. Step fully into it.

Iāve noticed somethingā¦ when the congratulations donāt come or when my wins are met with silence, I pay attention.
Not in a bitter way, just in a noted kind of way.
And I wonāt lieā¦ it does hurt sometimes when it comes from the people who are closest to you.
But Iāve learned not to stay there.
Because at the end of the day, God gave me this vision. Not people. And whether itās celebrated or ignored, Iām still going to keep building, keep showing up, and keep succeeding.
Iāve learned not to shrink my light for comfort or approvalā¦ simply because it may reflect that others are not where they want to be in life yet.
Every entrepreneur at some point in their journey has felt this way, so I just want to remind you youāre not alone in it.
But through it all, no matter what, God is the one who placed that vision in you. And you have to keep going. Never give up. Surround yourself with people who actually want to see you win, and stay grounded in what God showed you, even when itās not yet fully understood by others.

Adding a little magic to the stage for the Annistown Elementary School Chorus The Spring Concert, āColors.ā š¶
For their final performance of the semester, the gym was decorated with silver and black balloon columns, an organic balloon arch, and floating clusters throughout the space to bring the school colors to life and make the evening feel extra special for the students.
Thereās nothing like celebrating our kids and their hard work!
