Today is National Day Without Child Care — a day that reminds us just how important child care is for families, children, and communities.

Our schools are open today, and we’re proud to continue supporting the families who rely on us each day. We also recognize the meaning behind this day and the awareness it brings to an important truth: child care is critical infrastructure that supports families, workplaces, and communities.

This effort also reinforces the need for greater investment in child care, so the cost of care does not continue to fall entirely on families and providers.

To our teachers and school teams: thank you for the love, patience, and care you bring into our classrooms every day. You make a difference for children and families in so many meaningful ways. 💙

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating the warmth, creativity, and care our teachers bring to their work. They guide, support, and uplift our children—helping them grow with confidence and curiosity.

This week, we’re recognizing Children’s Mental Health Action Week and the importance of supporting children’s emotional well-being from the very beginning.

We understand that healthy development goes beyond academics. Whole-child development means caring for children’s hearts, minds, bodies, and emotions, helping them feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

A few simple ways families can support children’s mental health every day:
🌱 Name feelings together. Help children build emotional language by saying things like, “It looks like you’re feeling frustrated.”
💛 Create predictable routines. Consistent mealtimes, bedtimes, and transitions help children feel secure.
🧸 Make time for connection. Even a few minutes of focused, screen-free time can help children feel seen and valued.
🌬️ Practice calming strategies. Deep breaths, quiet time, movement, or a favorite comfort item can help children reset.
👂 Listen with patience. Big feelings can look like big behaviors. Staying calm helps children learn how to regulate.

This week is a meaningful reminder that supporting children’s mental health is part of helping them grow, learn, and thrive.

In honor of Arbor Day, we’re celebrating the importance of trees and the lasting impact they have on our environment. Just like trees, children grow stronger each day with care, support, and a strong foundation.
It’s a beautiful reminder that with the right nurturing, great things can grow.

This Earth Day is all about building awareness and appreciation for our planet. It’s a chance to guide children in understanding that every action matters and that caring for the Earth is something we can all be part of—every day.
Together, we can inspire a generation that values and protects the world around them.

🌼✨ Today we had so much fun with our Drawing Flowers activity! The kids went outside to observe real Chrysanthemums and Daisy Poms, then used their favorite drawing tools to create their own flower art.
They practiced fine motor skills, noticed tiny details in nature, and expressed their creativity in such unique ways. Love seeing their confidence grow through hands‑on art 🌱💛

This month, we’re proud to shine a light on the incredible children who serve in their own special way.

In honor of the Month of the Military Child, we recognize the courage and resilience it takes to grow up in a military family. These children learn flexibility, strength, and bravery at such a young age, and their stories deserve to be celebrated.

This month and always, we celebrate and support these amazing children who inspire us all.
