So many of us have not thought twice about what it means to be born in America, and even more - the price tag that’s associated with it. So many of us actually don’t know anything about birth other than the words, “epidural”, “Pitocin”, or “C-section”.

It’s time to talk about it! And we’re doing this together, bc awareness without guidance leads to paralysis or apathy. But when we get together and actually talk through these realities, we can be empowered and encouraged to make decisions and changes that are best for us!

Shout out to you! Because, black woman, you are making black history right now! And it’s the intentional, and Faith filled choices that you are making not only for yourself, but for your future family and the generations to come, that will make a big difference. Not every life-changing shift is a dramatic endeavor, most of the time, black woman was just fed up and wanted to do things differently. Be encouraged today, and every day, to make a shift for a better tomorrow.

I’m not talking about “take this supplement” or “start this workout”. That’s what they’re selling to get a sale not change your life.

I’m talking about the inner work that will have you passing down generational blessings, instead of trauma. It’s not a quick fix because we’re not interested in just scratching the surface. The kind of woman that shifts generations has to go deeper.

And I’ll be honest, it’s not for everybody. But the woman who wants better for herself AND her descendants will feel the pull. That pull is the first step to learning how to take advantage of your time BEFORE pregnancy to really set yourself up to thrive once kids are in the picture.

If you really knew how simple it was to make a major difference for your future mom self, you’d be sprinting to start.

But let me be clear… simple does not mean easy.

Anyone selling you the “perfect pregnancy/birth/motherhood/whatever” in 5 supplements or a YouTube stretch routine is lyinggg!

The real prep work starts internally and everyone is soo different. That’s why trying to figure it all out alone is so much harder than it needs to be.

Sis, you deserve a path that’s actually built around you.
