We are a student-run organization at Georgia Tech, comprised of people of all backgrounds who share a common interest in meteorology and other atmospheric science-related fields. Our mission is two-fold, aiming to "educate the local community to increase awareness and understanding of meteorological events, and to provide educationally-enriching experiences to student members in the field of meteorology". It’s that time of year again! 🥳

Join us in giving our StORM Club graduates a big CONGRATS 🎉

Bachelors of Science:

Autumn T. (StORM President) will be pursuing a PhD in Marine Sciences at the University of South Carolina researching in the Satellite Oceanography Laboratory

Chelsea B. (StORM Vice President) will be pursuing a MS/PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry/Climate at Colorado State Univeristy

Nadiyah W. will be pursuing a PhD in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at CU Boulder

Kevin P. will be staying at GT to pursue his Masters in EAS/ Meteorology

Faria P. will be staying at GT to pursue her Masters in EAS/ Meteorology

Caitlin K. will be staying at GT to pursue her Masters in EAS/Meteorology in addition to freelancing for CNN Weather

Nathan W. will also be staying at GT for his Masters in EAS/Meteorology, with hopes of joining the National Weather Service after

Masters of Science:

Susan H. will be pursuing a a PhD in Marine Science in the School of the Earth, Ocean and Environment at the University of South Carolina, studying the roll of the Jet Stream and Gulf Stream on marine heat waves in the North Atlantic Ocean

Jordan M. will be moving to Sumter, SC to serve as a weather officer in the U.S Air Force at Shaw AFB.

Dorien M. (Former StORM President) will be joining Live 5 News in Charleston, SC as a Meteorologist

We hate to say goodbye, but we can’t wait to see what y’all do!
