MONDAY, AUGUST 24, 2026

DFOWW Incorporated hosted a food distribution at Lowe's Home Improvement, providing supplemental food assistance to individuals and families working to make ends meet.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 27, 2026

DFOWW Incorporated continued its community outreach with food distributions at our Headquarters and at Home Depot.

During Thursday's distributions, DFOWW Incorporated distributed more than 500 pounds of high-quality protein to individuals and families in need.

We are grateful to the community partners, volunteers, and organizations that help make this work possible.

MORE THAN A FOOD DISTRIBUTION

DFOWW Incorporated is not a traditional food bank or food pantry.

Through our Write-Right Nutrition Program, we combine nutrition literacy education with supplemental food assistance.

Our goal is not simply to provide food for today. We want to provide individuals and families with practical nutrition knowledge and resources they can continue using long after a food distribution has ended.

Because families have different circumstances, DFOWW Incorporated offers two participation pathways.

OPTION 1 — EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP PATHWAY

This is the primary educational pathway of the Write-Right Nutrition Program and most closely reflects the mission upon which DFOWW Incorporated was founded.

Individuals and families may register for and participate in DFOWW Incorporated's nutrition literacy workshops.

Workshop registration fees help support the educational program and its operations, including curriculum and educational materials, workshop supplies, facility expenses, program coordination, insurance, participant resources, transportation, food-recovery expenses, refrigeration and storage, and meals when provided.

An important benefit of the Educational Workshop Pathway is that eligible participants who register, pay the applicable workshop registration fee, and participate in the nutrition literacy education program may also participate in designated Write-Right Nutrition Program food distributions without an additional Program Participation Fee during their applicable program participation period.

Supplemental food assistance remains subject to established household distribution limits and available inventory.

For example, when meat or protein is available, an eligible workshop participant may receive up to three packages of available meat or protein, along with other available foods or essential items offered through that distribution, without an additional Program Participation Fee.

The specific products, brands, quantities, and categories available will vary from distribution to distribution. Workshop registration does not guarantee any particular food item, brand, quantity, or type of donated product.

We strongly encourage families to consider this pathway. The food a family receives can help today. Education and practical knowledge can continue helping long after the food has been consumed.

OPTION 2 — COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PATHWAY

DFOWW Incorporated also recognizes that some individuals and families may need supplemental food assistance but may not be participating in one of our educational workshops.

The Community Assistance Pathway provides another way to participate in available food distributions without registering for the Educational Workshop Pathway.

Effective August 15, 2026, the following Program Participation Fees apply:

MEAT/PROTEIN DISTRIBUTION — $20 Program Participation Fee

Participants may receive up to three packages of available meat or protein products, subject to available inventory and program distribution limits.

BREAD/PASTRY DISTRIBUTION — up to $1 Program Participation Fee per available item

Other available donated foods and essential items may also be distributed according to DFOWW Incorporated's program guidelines, available inventory, and household limits.

Program Participation Fees help sustain the charitable infrastructure required to make DFOWW Incorporated's programs and distributions possible, including food recovery, transportation, fuel, refrigeration and freezer capacity, storage, supplies, nutrition education, volunteer coordination, insurance, program administration, and community outreach.

IMPORTANT: DFOWW INCORPORATED DOES NOT SELL DONATED FOOD

Food and essential items distributed through the Write-Right Nutrition Program are donated products.

Program Participation Fees are not payments for donated food or donated essential items. They help support DFOWW Incorporated's charitable programs and the operating expenses necessary to recover, transport, safely store, manage, and distribute donated products while continuing our educational mission.

Available products will vary based upon donations and inventory.

💜 COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP IN ACTION: DFOWW INCORPORATED & HOME DEPOT GAINESVILLE

Today, Thursday, August 20, 2026, was a wonderful example of what can happen when nonprofit organizations and businesses work together to support one another and the communities they serve.

DFOWW Incorporated brought our Write-Right Nutrition Program to Home Depot in Gainesville, Georgia, where we hosted a food distribution for Home Depot associates.

At the same time, Home Depot Gainesville once again invested in DFOWW Incorporated and our ability to continue serving communities throughout Georgia.

💜 SUPPORTING WORKING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES

One important reality of food insecurity is that having a job does not necessarily mean a household is food secure.

Working households may still face challenges balancing groceries with housing, utilities, transportation, childcare, healthcare and other essential expenses.

That is why DFOWW Incorporated believes food-security initiatives should recognize an important part of the population that can sometimes be overlooked: people who are working but may still benefit from supplemental food assistance.

Today, our nonprofit arrived at Home Depot with a van filled with food for associates, including:

🥩 Meat and other proteins
🍗 Chicken
🐟 Fish
🥗 Large quantities of fresh salad kits
🥦 Fresh vegetables
🍎 Organic fruit
🥯 Breads, bagels and bakery products
🍽️ Prepared meals
🛒 Additional refrigerated and grocery products

Home Depot associates came outside and worked together to unload carts, containers and boxes of food from our nonprofit van.

These photographs capture something we believe is important: community resources reaching working people directly where they are.

🏠💜 AND HOME DEPOT GAVE BACK TO DFOWW INCORPORATED

What made today even more meaningful was that this partnership worked both ways.

Home Depot Gainesville generously provided DFOWW Incorporated with another substantial collection of supplies and materials to support our nonprofit's programs, gardening projects, facility needs and day-to-day operations.

Today's support included:

🌱 Three large outdoor planters
🌿 A large Ruellia plant
🪴 Multiple large bags of potting mix
🌳 Multiple bags of pine bark nuggets
💡 Two low-voltage outdoor landscape spotlights
🪚 A DEWALT hand saw
🧹 O-Cedar floor-cleaning supplies
🧤 200 disposable nitrile gloves
🧻 A 12-roll package of Bounty paper towels
…and additional useful supplies for our nonprofit operations.

These are not simply products sitting on a shelf.

They become resources that DFOWW Incorporated can put directly to work.

The planters, soil, mulch and plant will support our gardening and nutrition-education activities. The outdoor lighting will help improve our property and growing areas. The hand saw will assist with plant and landscape maintenance. Cleaning products, gloves and paper supplies will help us maintain the spaces, equipment and materials used in carrying out our programs.

💜 A PARTNERSHIP THAT CONTINUES TO GROW

Today's generosity builds upon Home Depot Gainesville's previous support of DFOWW Incorporated.

Earlier this month, the store donated a new chest freezer, DEWALT power drill and accessories, commercial-style floor mats and disposable nitrile gloves to our organization.

The chest freezer has already expanded our ability to safely store frozen food recovered through the Write-Right Nutrition Program.

Today, DFOWW Incorporated had another opportunity to give back by bringing a substantial amount of food directly to Home Depot associates.

Home Depot helped equip our nonprofit to serve the community.

DFOWW Incorporated brought food resources to Home Depot associates.

Together, we demonstrated what can happen when community partnership becomes a two-way relationship. 🤝💜

This is the kind of partnership DFOWW Incorporated wants to continue building throughout Georgia—relationships in which organizations share resources, support one another and multiply the impact those resources can have in the community.

Earlier today, Monday, August 17, 2026, DFOWW Incorporated hosted another community food distribution through our Write-Right Nutrition Program at Growth Mindset Wellness PC in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Among today's available products was Califia Farms Organic Almond Creamer, a dairy-free, plant-based alternative to traditional dairy creamers. Products like these provide households with additional choices, including options for families who prefer plant-based products or avoid dairy.

We sincerely thank all of our volunteers who assisted with today's distribution. 💜 Your time and service help make our educational programs, food recovery efforts, and community distributions possible.

Chicken wings are a good source of high-quality animal protein and provide important nutrients, including B vitamins such as vitamins B6 and B12, as well as essential minerals including selenium, zinc, and phosphorus. Chicken also contains connective-tissue proteins, including collagen.

💜 MORE THAN 500 POUNDS OF MEAT & PROTEIN-RICH FOODS DISTRIBUTED TODAY!

Today, Thursday, August 13, 2026, DFOWW Incorporated (Daphany's Fabulous Objective Weekly Workshops) continued putting our charitable mission into action through our Write-Right Nutrition Program.

Earlier today, DFOWW Incorporated hosted a food distribution with one of our valued community supporters, Lowe's Home Improvement.

Through today's outreach, we distributed more than 500 pounds of meat and protein-rich foods, along with prepared meals and other food items.

Families and participants had access to an incredible variety of donated foods, including:

🍗 Chicken and chicken wings
🐟 Salmon
🥩 Pork and other meats
🍔 Wagyu beef-and-cheddar burgers
🍝 Chicken Alfredo meals
🍅 Italian sausage and pasta meals
🥗 Other prepared foods and meal options

Additional participants also received personal-care essentials based on availability.

We were also pleased to host another food distribution today at Growth Mindset Wellness PC in Stockbridge, Georgia, continuing our efforts to connect families and individuals in our community with supplemental food assistance.

These distributions represent much more than simply moving food from one location to another. Food recovery requires transportation, fuel, refrigeration and freezer capacity, safe storage, supplies, organization, volunteer coordination, and many hours of work behind the scenes.

We sincerely thank all of our volunteers, community partners, sponsors, and supporters who helped make today's outreach possible. Your continued support helps DFOWW Incorporated recover food, reduce unnecessary food waste, and put valuable resources into the hands of people who can use them.

WRITE-RIGHT NUTRITION PROGRAM: NUTRITION EDUCATION & COMMUNITY OUTREACH

🥚 DID YOU KNOW? BROWN EGGS AREN’T NECESSARILY HEALTHIER THAN WHITE EGGS!

There is a common misconception that brown eggs are more nutritious than white eggs. In reality, an egg’s shell color is primarily determined by the breed of the hen. Shell color by itself does not determine the nutritional value of an egg.

So what can make a difference?

🥚 Hen diet: What hens eat can influence the nutritional composition of their eggs. Some eggs, for example, are enriched with omega-3 fatty acids through the hens’ diets.

🌱 How hens are raised: Farming practices, including access to pasture and sunlight, may influence certain nutritional characteristics.

🥚 Freshness and proper handling: Regardless of shell color, proper refrigeration, storage, preparation, and food-safety practices are important.

And those beautiful brown eggs pictured with this post? They are organic, free-range eggs that were among the items available through today’s community outreach! 💜

Earlier today, DFOWW Incorporated hosted community assistance distributions through our Write-Right Nutrition Program outside our headquarters and at Remedy in Atlanta, Georgia.

Participants received a variety of donated food and essential items based on availability, including organic brown eggs, dairy products, yogurt, bakery items, and other available resources.

The photographs tell only part of the story. Behind every distribution are food recovery, transportation, sorting, refrigeration, storage, volunteer coordination, and community partnerships that help make these opportunities possible.
