The teen takeovers were a problem over the past months leading into the summer. Kids gathered in large numbers, going through malls and stores, trashing them, and doing the same in streets, like standing on people’s cars.

Cities like Chicago, D.C., and Atlanta are now starting to hold parents accountable.

If your child does the crime, parents—you will do the time.

Ladies Ladies please come to my brief ted talk:

In all of my years of teaching I have found that it is imperative for us to be mindful of who we create with. Who we decide to mingle our DNA with is linked to a child’s behavior, intelligence and temperament just to name a few things.

🏡Environment is also a critical factor in student development, emotional stability, and achieving developmental goals. I know I know you’re in love and you think this relationship will last forever but if he CAN NOT read, lack motivation, shows agression and lack the ability to critically think you need to ReTHINK because those are the ingredients that you will be working with to make your creation.

Everyone loves to talk about the amount of days teachers have off but seldom talks about the things that lead up to those off days.

A day in the life of a teacher is a lot; it’s not always about teaching, but. Being stretched in different areas.

We do more than teach but just want to teach.

Like Rihanna said, “Pay me what you owe me.”

Teacher shortages and teacher retention continue to be issues in education. According to Evaluate K12, the three most frequently mentioned issues are stress, lack of support, and low compensation.

School districts are suffering across the board to maintain quality teachers due to the mentioned reasons. 

North Carolina continues to struggle with maintaining teachers. Losing 9,000 teachers, North Carolina lawmakers have increased teachers pay by 8% and 17% for new teachers. However, the bleed continues.

Studies have shown that higher pay links to better scores in English and Math, but why isn’t this holding true for states like New York and California?
