Join us in celebrating the incredible Ms. Park, our 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year!

As the daughter of Korean immigrants, Ms. Park leads with a deep belief that education transforms futures. From bringing hands-on STEAM opportunities to JCYMS through partnerships with Google and Georgia Tech, to launching our schoolwide eSports program, she constantly uses technology to champion equity and empower our students.

We are so proud to have an Apple Learning Coach, EdFarm Fellow, and Digital Promise Champion leading our classrooms. Thank you, Ms. Park, for always choosing to "lead with heart and uplift every voice!"

It’s time to shine! Young Middle School is proud to present Awards Day, a special day dedicated to celebrating our students' hard work, excellence, and achievements.

Join us as we honor our outstanding students on Tuesday, May 19th. We will be hosting two separate ceremonies to ensure every scholar gets their moment in the spotlight:

7th Grade Ceremony: 10:00 AM
6th Grade Ceremony: 1:00 PM

We can't wait to see our Wolves recognized for their incredible dedication this year! 🌟

What an incredible Saturday! On May 9th, the APS Middle School World Cup took over the West End Station pitch, and the energy was absolutely electric. ⚡️

From the first whistle to the final trophy presentation, it was about so much more than just the score. We saw schools from across the city unite for a day defined by community, celebration, and some seriously impressive footwork.

A massive thank you to:

The Players: For showing up with heart, hustle, and sportsmanship.

The Coaches & Educators: For the tireless work you put into your students leading up to this tournament.

The Community: For cheering loud and making West End feel like a global stadium.

📝 GET READY FOR TRYOUTS: The Essential Guide 📝

Want to make the squad? Preparation is key! Here is everything you need to know to be ready for Day 1:

1️⃣ REGISTER ASAP: Scan the QR code in this post to fill out the Google Form.
⚠️ DEADLINE: May 4th at 8:00 PM. No late entries!
2️⃣ CHECK YOUR EMAIL: Official tryout material will be sent 24–48 hours after the form closes. Start practicing early!
3️⃣ DRESS THE PART: Check our "Tryout Lookbook" to ensure you have the required attire:

Plain white shirt (no logos)

Black biker shorts or leggings

White cheer bow (Mandatory!)

White cheer or tennis shoes
4️⃣ DONT FORGET: All athletes MUST bring a copy of their physical to Day 1 of tryouts. No physical = no tryout! 🛑
