Playing in Piano Trios will always be my favorite! Mr. Dubinsky was so kind as a chamber music coach, and Mrs. Dubinsky was the best piano teacher I could have ever had as a young woman. Attempting the difficult task of putting aside my ego and giving myself to her expectations of how Beethoven, Debussy, and Chopin must be played—how to honor composers and their intentions, with strength and conviction, is a lesson that I cherish.
