Listening to Daydream Believers by the Monkees.

Always loved the melodies of their songs and never really paid too much attention to the words. Actually learned a new vocabulary word, steed,
" You once thought of me as a white horse on a steed"

They were like the Beatles everyone had a favorite...
Mine was Micky.

Sometimes you make activities that fall flat, some bingo.
This was so simple... seven circles with instruction to make faces. So adorable!

What Pandora station takes you out of the present and puts you in the music? For me, Joni Mitchell Radio transports with every song.. Joni Mitchell, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Neil Young, CSNY, Carole King...once the students leave, its the best release.

Had fun asking 2nd -3rd graders what they would let their children do...
So many said play outside...

Well you know I've been at this childrens music, 26 songs to be exact, for several years.
I finally put them on youtube

and in 3 weeks, the magic happened with 10,000 views on Queen Quinella!!
