Happy first date anniversary to my now husband, Chase!
We’re entering our 6th year together and it all started by getting set up on a blind date through a mutual friend (my coworker at the time). We went out on 12/12/2017.
He sent me this text message which was straight to the point and we didn’t text after we planned the date- we just met! We didn’t let texting mess up any possible connection- I’m a firm believer in texting too much before a date ruins it and makes too many opportunities for someone to lose interest.
It’s amazing looking back that someone took a creepy pic of us and I also saved our first texts. I must have known it was a special situation. ❤️
Now we are just a few weeks away from welcoming our baby girl into the world.

Romance isn’t dead, but it’s rare. I find that a lot of men are afraid to be romantic due to fears of rejection. But romance doesn’t need to be what you see in the films, it can be as easy as pulling her chair out for her or waiting with her for her Uber to come. It could also be having her over for dinner and preparing a special/ unique cocktail for her or remembering her love of chocolate and having a chocolate cake slice waiting for dessert.
Women want to see the EFFORT THAT YOU CARE! Stand out from other single men out there and be different and show her some romance!
